Two ceremonies, one photographer who knows the order of events

A Nigerian traditional wedding does not run like a Canadian reception, and a photographer who has never worked one will miss the moments that matter. We know when the prostration happens, when the families exchange gifts, when the aso-ebi photos need to be gathered before people scatter, and how long you actually have for portraits between the ceremony and the first dance.

That knowledge is the difference between a gallery of pretty pictures and a gallery your parents cry over.

Wedding photography questions

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Calgary?

Most Calgary wedding photographers fall between $2,000 and $5,000 for full-day coverage. Our wedding collections start at $2,500 for the day, with live streaming and a second shooter priced as add-ons. You get a firm quote on the free 15-minute call.

Do you photograph traditional and white weddings on separate days?

Yes, and most of our couples have both. We price them as one booking when they fall in the same week, which works out cheaper than booking two photographers.

How far in advance should we book?

Six to twelve months for a summer Saturday in Calgary. Winter and weekday dates are usually available with less notice. A retainer holds the date and we turn down every other enquiry for it.

Do you travel to Banff, Canmore or outside Alberta?

Yes. Mountain weddings in Banff and Canmore are a regular part of the calendar, and we travel across Canada and internationally. Travel is quoted with your collection so there are no surprises.

When do we get our wedding photos?

A sneak-peek set lands within 48 hours so you have something to share while the day is still fresh. The full gallery follows in four to six weeks.

Can you live stream our ceremony for family abroad?

Yes. We run a multi-camera stream to YouTube, Facebook or Zoom so family in Nigeria, the UK or anywhere else can watch in real time, and you keep the recording.
